Affiliate marketing

 Affiliate marketing is one of the best methods for online money making. There are a lot of affiliate marketing programs that can help webmasters earn their monthly income. Most affiliate marketing programs are “per sale” based since this is the safest way for affiliate marketers to promote their affiliate products. Per sale means that you get commission every time somebody buys your affiliate product through your affiliate link. I won’t go in much detail here since there will be many more affiliate marketing articles from me.

Affiliate marketing programs that I prefer are “per lead” programs which means that I get paid when somebody registers for something that is free. Usually it means filling a form or maybe joining a forum… Pay per lead affiliate marketing programs are very good for young webmasters since they look like free money. Of course this is not true since you really have to have a lot of highly targeted traffic in order to make a lot of conversions.

To be successful with affiliate marketing programs you need to find the product that fits your website in such a way that visitors just have to click on that link a buy that product. An example would be a marketing blog selling eBooks about online marketing.

If you haven’t tried affiliate marketing I suggest that you do since it could make you rich or at least it will make you learn more about affiliate marketing.

Marketing blog – monthly review

  Instead of doing my usual   marketing blog challenge   weekly update I have decided to review my first month with my marketing blog and analyze what was good and what wasn’t. So here we go. During my first month I had 797 unique visitors, that means 25 unique visitors per day which is kind of frustrating. The number is steady and it doesn’t grow but I’m confident that it will one day. Another marketing blog challenge update

  Today I have checked position www.webinknow.com for the term   marketing blog   and David has moved down the to position number 443. I guess that has something to do with the fact that his post about my marketing blog challenge has moved down in his content. I don’t believe that more than 200 of our competitors have worked on their content and links to move David so many places down in SERPS. So today’s conclusion is that position of the content (maybe it is better to say position of keywords) definitely influences your position for high competitive terms and marketing blog sure falls under this category. Of course my  marketing blog  is nowhere near top 1000 but I’m working on it. I’ve decided to let it get older so that people link to me without me telling them to do so. I only hope that this will be the case in the next 6 months. I’m going to update my “Tools” section today so no more talk. Thank you for your time.

Marketing blog problem

Last few days I have a problem with writing content. I just can’t seem to find any good subjects to write about. Maybe it is the lack of free time that prevents me from writing or maybe I’m just too lazy these days, I’m not sure. If you think about it, writing about one single topic can be really hard. In my case writing only about blog marketing is really hard. I know that I write about marketing in general and search engine marketing, not only blog marketing but these subjects are related so I think about them as one. Optimizing your content for certain keywords (marketing blog in my case) is another thing that keeps you away from writing because you get the feeling that everything you write looks like something you have written before… I hope that I will find something good to write about tomorrow.
